Sentenced to Death

A grid-based dungeon crawling type 'em up! 

You have been charged with a crime you didn't commit. You have been tossed into this hellish place with two options; lie down and die, or find your way out. Explore, encounter dangerous monsters and find your way out of this deadly dungeon... if you can!

DISCLAIMER - While we toiled many hours and had good fun developing this game, we fell pray to the time constraints of the jam. As such, the game can be quite rough around the edges!

GAMEPLAY:

Make your way around the dungeon, killing monsters and opening doors until you find your way out. Moving close to a monster will enter combat mode - a turn based typing challenge where you block and attack the creature. You may also use items and attempt to flee if things are getting hairy! 

NOTE: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FLEE IF THERE IS NO NEARBY SPACES TO MOVE INTO AS IT WILL BREAK THE GAME

 

CONTROLS	KEYS
MOVE	W, A, S, D
TURN	Q, E
BEGIN TYPING	SPACE BAR
PAUSE TYPING (COMBAT)	ENTER/RETURN

HUD:

Red Bar: Health
Regain health using potions from the items menu!

Green Bar: Hunger
Restore your energy by eating bananas!
